Optional; Our cold fog MCFN can be further enhanced with ozone gas injected into the produced cold fog. Ozone has been GRAS approved by the FDA and USDA for over 15 years. GRAS and CIP approval allows the use of ozone as an antimicrobial agent for direct contact with food. Using ozone results in safer food and reduced contamination, with a straight yield for extended shelf life thanks to significant bacterial reduction. Applicability to fresh produce, meat, fish and cheese displays.
